Originally from India, Amitabh joined us after a nineteen-year-long stint at the New Delhi office of Immigration New Zealand (INZ). Amitabh started at INZ as an Immigration Officer and went on to become one of the Technical Advisors, with intermittent stints as Immigration Manager. He completed the Graduate Diploma in New Zealand Immigration Advice (achieving an A average across all 8 papers!) and gained his full license as an immigration advisor in 2024. He was also awarded the Wolters Kluwer CCH Immigration Law Prize for achieving the highest mark in LAWS7012 (Introduction to Immigration Law and Decision Making). Amitabh lives with his family in Hamilton, New Zealand. He brings his wealth of knowledge and a sense of dignified calm to the team!
